Expo Centre Sharjah, International Congress and Convention Association discuss boosting cooperation

SHARJAH, 31st January, 2023 (WAM) – Expo Centre Sharjah and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) discussed ways to improve collaboration in the business events and conference sector and develop joint international strategies.
The two sides discussed future of exhibition industry, innovative approaches, and opportunities to organize joint initiatives.
During the meeting, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, the CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah and Anju Gomes, Regional Director of Middle East for ICCA agreed on enhancing business tourism through exhibitions and conferences and explored ways to broaden their joint work to improve the industry.
The CEO emphasized the UAE's leadership in business tourism, and the ICCA Regional Director expressed willingness to bolster cooperation with Expo Centre Sharjah to promote business tourism. The meeting also reviewed the future development projects and schedule of events and exhibitions for 2023.
