The number of Chinese tourists travelling to the GCC is expected to rise by 81 percent from 1.6 million in 2018 to 2.9 million in 2022, according to the latest data compiled by Expedia Group

The figures from the second quarter of 2019 suggest a significant percentage of Chinese tourists will choose the UAE and Dubai as their preferred holiday destination.

Developers are completing construction and handing over projects with speed ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai despite a sustained correction in prices, according to new research.

The Property Finder Trends report for the first half of 2019 showed that a total of 20,978 residential units were completed.

The total comprised 14,999 apartments, 1,084 serviced apartments and 4,895 villas and townhomes.

Abu Dhabi and Muscat have been named in a list of the world's friendliest travel destinations.

British Airways has announced that its first A350 aircraft is being put through its paces with extensive trials ahead of its long-haul launch to Dubai on September 2.

The airline took delivery of its newest aircraft featuring its latest generation business class seat, Club Suite, on July 29.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Middle East and Africa, has reported a 'disappointing' net loss in the second quarter of 2019.
