Dubai Health Authority has launched the unified electronic system 'Salama' Hatta Hospital, improving operational efficiency and professional practices.

The final phase of Salama was launched earlier this week in Latifa Hospital, Hatta Hospital, Thalassemia Center, Dubai Gynecology and Fertility Center and all DHA Medical Fitness Centers.

Salama is a DHA-wide project that aims to provide patients and doctors access to medical records through a patient portal and ensure that the electronic patient medical record is available across the DHA health facilities.

Oriental Pearls, an upscale property developer in the UAE, has announced that Royal Pearls, a 4.6 million square foot community of more than 7,000 premium freehold apartments, is on track for completion in 2022.

More people in the UAE will now be able to enjoy complimentary internet access after WiFi UAE announced an expansion of its sites throughout the country.

Seven newly activated sites include Remal Mall and Jimi Mall in Al Ain, Al Shaab Village Mall in Sharjah, Times Square Centre and Dubai Marina Walk in Dubai, Al Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah Hospital, a statement said.

The service offers users two types of internet connection - WiFi UAE, a free WiFi service, and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service that allows users unrestricted upload and download speed.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, will announce the price range of its fuel distribution business, ADNOC Distribution, on November 26.

ADNOC has announced recently its plans to sell at least 10 percent of its stake in its fuel retail business in an initial public offering, IPO. The Crescent Enterprises, a multinational company headquartered in the UAE, has launched a venture capital arm with plans to invest U$150 million over the coming three years.

The governor of the Central Bank of the UAE wants private equity firms to help fill the void left by banks that have cut lending to SMEs in recent years amid lacklustre economic growth.
