UAE's Etisalat on Monday announced the launch of a cloud-based business unified communication and collaboration service, CloudTalk, for small and medium businesses and enterprise customers in the UAE.

In a statement, the telecommunications services provider said that it had partnered with Ribbon Communications 'to provide customers with a secure, scalable, and cloud-native business communication and collaboration solution'. The UAE's telecommunications regulator has said it imposes strict standards to protect users' privacy after ToTok was taken off the Apple and Google app stores because there were allegations that it was being used as a spy tool.
