Tecno Mobile, premium mobile phone brand of Transsion Holdings, has unveiled new smartphone, the Camon CM, the first device in its Camon series to feature a frameless full-screen display.

The smartphone maker also inked a distribution deal with Jumbo Electronics, giving the regional retailer exclusive rights to market and sell Tecno smartphones in the UAE.

After a day of speculation, Apple finally confirmed that it will be releasing a special-edition iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in a colour that has both striking appeal and a noble cause.

The PRODUCT(RED) edition will be available in limited markets, including the UAE. The devices will be available on April 13, but pre-orders start tomorrow.

Dubai-based telco du has signed an agreement to transform Ajman's Rumaila District into a smart residential area.

Ajman's Municipality and Planning Department (MPD) and du will work jointly on the Smart Rumaila District Project, state news agency WAM reported.

UAE-based telecom firm Etisalat has announced that it has further reduced its roaming rates for voice calls, SMS and data, starting from Sunday, April 1.

Etisalat said in a statement released on Monday that the prepaid and post-paid customers will enjoy discounted roaming rates of up to 29 per cent on data, outgoing voice calls to UAE, GCC and local destinations and outgoing SMS while traveling to any Gulf Cooperation Council countries through any roaming partner.
