Christer Ekberg has worked a total of 17 years for the Porsche brand, having spent five years as managing director at Porsche in Sweden before joining Porsche Asia Pacific in 2001. His experience in the automotive industry spans more than 30 years in Sales, Marketing and After Sales functions, across North America, Europe and Asia.

Ekberg succeeds George Wills who will take over the lead of Porsche Latin America, as subsidiary responsible for the importer and dealer network in the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Hyundai's year-on-year sales are up 5.9% across the GCC and Levant, with a total of 67,353 vehicles being driven out of showrooms between January and March.
